Number of Homes For Sale in Utah Dropping |

I've been watching the number of homes for sale in Utah drop for the last year on a pretty consistent basis. Sometime in the last 24 hours the number of homes for sale along the Wasatch Front drop below the 9000 mark. That is the lowest I have seen it since I got into the business about three years ago. A little bit more than a year ago there were more than 12,000 homes available. This is making it harder for buyers to find homes and giving them less negotiating power when they do find one. As a result the homes are selling for more and home-owners are starting to see some appreciation.
